FOL 2006 - Durbah - registration? is it up?

i just tried to register for the FOL class this Feb. 2006. but for some reason, i dont get any email and i can't even pay for it?

anybody else got the same problem?

and their are 10 weeks till the class, i think this is going to be a record turn out for a durbah class

a lot of ppl are hyped about it

Students are expected to register with their birth date. Anyone being anything but honest when registering for an Islamic Institute's seminar has other issues to work out.

And we'll be checking IDs at registration. IDs must be photo ID and include birthdate.

That is quite funny. Some might see lying to attain Islamic Knowledge as something commendable. But people still should not lie.

I was just wondering about people who were not 17 yet, but who might have already gotten married or are engaged ... can they take the class. When FOL was supposed to come to NJ the last time around, I knew of a couple Sisters who were under 17, but were engaged to be married or already married.

Also, I know of a Sister who is 16 but has already begun attending College. Is it possible for her to attend the class?

Akhee, are you sure that the age limit is 17? I thought I remember it being 16 years old as the limit. Wallahu Alim. The only reason I ask is because it probably will affect some of our students when FOL comes to Qabeelat Badr in shaa Allah. Jazak Allahu Khairan for the clarification. May Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, put more barakah in your efforts and reward all of you for your hard work.
