Leaving Houston
assalamalikum
i'll be leaving Houston inshallah after TDC... and i know many of you here on AlMaghrib forum... And just wanted to say that i'll miss the Houston community very much, & inshallah, I pray that my family will return to you all in the future, to an even bigger AMI student-body here, under the able leadership of Yasser, Irtiza, Hasan, and others. May Allah strengthen all of you. Make dua' for me, and dua' for the dawah here, as we should never underestimate the power of dua'. May Allah help expand your energies to the many organizations, and causes that are doing the work of Sunnah in Houston, starting with AMI, but not ending with AMI. My wife Umm Reem, will be joining me in a few months inshallah, and I am sure she joins me in these sentiments. And of course Reem & Abdullah will miss all their uncles & aunts, and amir bhai! If I have done anything to harm/hurt/offend anyone in the past, please forgive me, and make it a cause for forgiveness for you as well. If I can correct any of these wrongs, contact me before I leave inshallah. I look forward to new dawah frontiers close to Durbah, Mubarak, and Thabt, and hope, and pray, to be part of AMI & Dawah programs, wherever I am. wajazakumallahkhair. wasalam. -amad Last edited by abuabdullah; 12-13-2005 at 04:46 PM. |

To be honest, Houston and Tx Dawah will not be the same after you leave, Amad. I am in tears everytime I think of you leaving. This just reminds me of the reality of life...that nothing is eternal except Allah, subhanahu wa ta'aala.
May Allah give you goodness wherever you go, may He provide us with brothers better than you to serve the Muslim community while you're gone, and may He re-join us in this life upon his servitude, and in the hereafter in His eternal comfortable abode; Jannatul Firdaus! Jazakum Allahu khayran for everything. I couldn't have done Tx Dawah this year without you being there for my support. |

jazakAllahkhair yasser... you are too kind...
all i can say is that it may be difficult for the community when one brother leaves the community (only kind people like you will miss me ), but how difficult is it for the brother who is leaving ALL the brothers behind--- make dua' for me please. wasalam. |

I already have plans for you wherever you're going, so be prepared ![]() "and two people who loved one another, they met each other upon His servitude then were separated upon His servitude..." I ask Allah that Allah makes us among those whom He shades under the shade of His Throne on the day which no shade exists excpet that of His Throne. You're going to have fun up there...make sure Abdallah doesn't slud too often...this boy can slud across the US, barak Allahu feeh
