Its ready! ~ PROJECT REVISION -

Bismillah.
Alhamdulillah, Allah has given us the opportunity to come this far in this project. We have a system ready to be implemented THIS COMING WEEKEND.

Get ready to meet other international qabeelah members and review classes together!!!

The system:
i) What is/are the goal for this review session?
Goals:
To create a system/program that will assist 'dedicated' students in keeping the knowledge fresh in their minds ready for application.
To recap the material from class online
ii) How to recap the material presented in class online?
1) JAM (GEM) session - student share & discuss GEMS they learned from the class
2) Note Skimming - mod. skims over the notes
3) Online Quizzes
- Qabeelah showdown: Qabeelah tests another qabeelah.
- Mod. quizzing: Moderator quizzes the participants.
- Downloadable quizzes: Done in word and emailed to be graded.
4) Post-session quiz - quiz after each session
5) Mod. review - moderator reviews the notes and the participants ask questions when they don't understand something.
6) Additional discussion - further discussion on additional resources on the subject.
7) Pre-session outlining - general outline of what will be discussed in the session before it take place.
iii) How long should it take to review one class? How much should be reviewed in one session?
Divide each class into 8 sections. Review 1 section per session per week. Thus, finish 1 class in 2 months.

Ex. History of Khulafah (51 pages)
1) From the eyes of Abdullah ibn AzZubair (pg1) to Riddah conflict: Northern Arabia (pg6)'
2) Riddah conflict: Musaylimah (pg7) to Legacy of Abu Bakr (pg13)
3) Umar (pg 14) to Conquest: Nahavand (pg20)
4) Conquest: Dimashq (pg21) to Legacy of Umar (pg26)
5) Uthman (pg27) to Fitnah (pg33)
6) Fitnah (pg34) to Battle of Nahrawan (pg40)
7) Fitnah (pg41) to Laws of leadership (pg47)
8) Where then are we going (pg48-51)

iv) Should brothers and sisters have their own seperate programs? Should they have some seperate programs and some together?
In the review sessions that require only the moderator speak and the participants to follow along and ask question (using text), both brothers and sisters can join.
In the review sessions where there is quizzing and more interaction, the brothers and sisters may have seperated rooms.

As I posted before, I am interested. However, I won't be able to come online at that time as I will be with Qabeelat Ittihaad in our class ISLAM INVULNERABLE... its the second weekend for it. Is it OK to miss whatever I'm going to miss?

6-7 pages per day, 15min per page.
