Re: Read These Rules Before You Post!

From Muhammad AlShareef:

As an advice to myself first: If you find your heartbeat pumping real hard DON'T POST. Write what you wish to say in a word document, save it, and then re-read 24 hours later. You'll be surprised what nonense Shaytaan can make us say when we get angry. A'oodho billaahi minash shaytaanir rajeem.

Re: Read These Rules Before You Post!

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Assalaamu`alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakatuhu

From Abu Hurayrah:

Until such a time as the members of this forum can enter into a discussion about maddhabs without tossing around labels, getting into fights, or linking to unreliable sites, there is a temporary ban on the discussion of madhhabs on the forums.

The only allowable discussion will be those ACTUALLY TAKING THE CLASS, The Evolution of Fiqh.

I realize this may alienate a good portion of our brothers and sisters that are on the forums and have done nothing wrong, and have even contributed greatly, but as a forum, we all need to mature a lot until we can deal with this issue.

Therefore, to make sure that all participants are in the appropriate Qabeelah, unless you're "User Title" states you are not from a particular Qabeelah that is taking the class or has just finished taking the class, then you are not permitted to participate.

When this ban is lifted, there will be an update.

That is all.
