Salaamu ALaikum: Iyaad here
Assalaam ALaikum,
Ya ikhwa wa ikhwaat( I hope I got it right?). I am trying to be a good Muslim and try to be in the company of good Muslims. I would also like to attend the classes being offered in NJ, please let me know where they are and how I can register as I could not get on the al-maghrib website. I am studying in school now, I have an exam soon. Please, please make dua' for my exam, so I can do well and serve the ummah and feed my family and make my parents happy. Oh, and please make dua' for my hidayah, that Allaah give me hidayah and keep me in it. Ya Allaah Sabit Quloobuna 'ala deenik. and please any other dua's. Want to be servant of Allaah and your fellow Muslim, Iyaad |

Re: Salaamu ALaikum: Iyaad here
Assalaamu Alaikum,
Thank you brothers and sisters, jazakumullaahu khairan. Now I can feed my family. I have successfully finished the exam I asked you to pray for and the only thing I did differently( islaamically speaking) was to come to this forum and ask ya'll to pray for me. Alhamdulillaah. Allaah has accepted someone's dua' and may Allaah give that someone something better than a good grade on an exam to feed their family. anyways, thereafter i became seriously sick( i am actually with fever and what not) and now I am in an even harder course than before(actually according to almost all the students, the hardest course of the year, great for me). But please continue to make dua' for my exams and hidayah( offcourse one is more important than the other, but please include both). Happy to be hear and thankful for Muslim family members like yourselves, Iyaad PS: can anyone tell me what my name means, I am not sure. thanks. oh, its with an 3ain. Oh, I heard about Al-maghrib forums, I use to read the khutbahs before but from my family. |

wa alaykum as salam akhee Iyaad,
I'd just like to join in welcoming you to the forums! Ahlan wa sahlan. If you are not Durbah yet, in sha Allah soon you will be :P May Allah ta'ala bless you in your exams in this life and the next and may He always keep you healthy. Ameen. I 'think' (*key word: think*) your name means something to the effect of compensation or reward or gift. In sha Allah, someone can correct me. |

Assalamu alayk Akhee Iyaad, and welcome to the forums. I ask Allah to give us firmness on his deen.
As of registering for the DURBAH class, here is the website (if you didn't get it already )www.almaghrib.org You'll find links to upcoming semiars. Just find your way through to the Tafseer Surat Al-Baqarah class, in NJ. I think it'll be in May in shaa Allah. About your name, I don't know how it is pronounced with a 3ein. It's either Eyad (with a hamzah in the beginning, and a daal at the end) or 'Iyadd (with a 3ein in the beginning and a ddaadd at the end). I don't know what either means though ![]() Have fun on the forums, and hurry up and be a part of Durbah (NJ Al-Maghrib students). They just got beat by us, Hosna, and I think they'll need your help. (We beat them by getting better grades on the previous exam.) ![]() If you need anything in shaa Allah, let us know. I'm sure sooo many people here will be willing to help in anything. Jazak Allahu khayran and welcome again. Yasser |

Re: Salaamu ALaikum: Iyaad here
Assalaamu ALaikum,
Ahlan bikum, Thanks, jazakamullaahu khair! I am happy that Iyaad has a really nice meaning! Thanks for the dua' too. I dunno about making it to the NJ, Durbah class on Surah Al-Baqarah because i am in school and taking a very very hard course(neuroscience) so I wont be able to come but I am thinking about coming to the one in Maryland in sh' Allaah( if I dont go overseas and get married in sh' Allaah this summer, that is ) Thanks for the warm welcome!I really look forward to taking Al-Maghrib classes in sh' Allaah as soon as I can. May Allaah bless your work and give hidayah and hikmah to many through this work. As a request from a Muslim, please continue to making dua' for me, my hidayah and success in this hard course and protection from 3ain, because I feel I have come under it couple of times(3ain) as it's something that you cannot escape from it but take precautions against it. I think Al-Falaq and An-Nas is the best weapon. But please continue to make dua' for me. Wasalaamu Alaikum, A happy muslim to be here, Iyaad |
