Re: BOC review quiz
Quote:
1. Hidaya Tawfeeq: is where the person is guided to the path and Allaah ta'aala excepting it. 2. Hidaya irshaad: is where the person is guided to the path, but not certain whether they're going to take that path. eg. The Prophet (sal Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallaam)'s uncle had hidaya irshaad, but not hidaya tawfeeq. Gem: When we say اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ, we're praying for both hidaya tawfeeq and hidaya irshaad. wAllaahu a'lam.

Re: BOC review quiz
Ar-Rahman= The Most Gracious (caracteristic)
Ar-Rahim= The Most Merciful (action) Allah is Ar-Rahman to mankind and for muslims He is Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim. |
