Inviting the youth.

Asalamu alykum w.w

Masha allah we have so many great ideas. It is great that we are getting the older generation involved in Al Maghrib but we are forgetting the youth. Tooba, Anila and I were talking about how to get the youth‘s attention. 1st we need their attention then promote the class.

Goal: to youth to attend the class.

How: by having a MEGA sister’s potluck party. We will invite youth (high school students) from all over Montreal. To do that we need to hand out mini invitation cards (a slip of paper) to one person from each high school who can give to all the Muslims with in that specific school. The invitation card will specify and encourage them to bring their mother, aunts, cousins, and other relatives. Once the youth comes to the party we can professionally introduce the class, our web, and Al Maghrib’s background. For reference they can come to our promo. Inshallah that way, not are we only reaching out to the youth but also other adults that we have never met.

Location: in a gym. A central point for all. Closest to the metro.

This just an idea, what do u guys thing?

was salam
