I am curious to know what do all the AlMaghrib Qabeelat names actually mean and how did you all chose this name. Please share!

Wow! That is a great story representing the heart, soul and mind of a Lion. I am standing in the path of a thundering wall of elephants with my arrow pointed an elephan'ts eye: at least, this is how I feel marketing AlMaghrib and the next class while cutting through my own communication fears and the opinions of the people I am approaching. wa alaykumassalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

QABEELAT NURAYN: means the two lights and our qabeelah is the greater DC area (MD-DC-VA) and before Nurayn there used to be TWO qaba'il, qabeelat Thabt for Maryland and qabeelat Mubarak for Virginia, alhamdulillah we merged I believe last May and now we are the TWO LIGHTS...

Majd = Glory

بالعلم والمال يبني الناس مجدهم

Wedad [Root: Mawadda = love, tranquility...]

General meaning:
containing elements of love, tranquility (for the sake of Allah[swt])

The name was suggested by Shaykh Muhammad Faqih and was voted best (from a pool of other suggested names) by the Wedad crue at the completion dinner of our Promo-tour: California Love!

Sabrun_Jamilun,
Qabeela Asad are the tribe that reside in Montreal(Ma'shaAllah they'll be having Heart Serene soon with Sheikh Raid this month)

Qabeela Ansar is Ottawa- Also Canada's Capital city for those that don't know

and MashaAllah they' have Sh.Waleed in town I believe for Rays of Faith

Qabeela Ruhma use to be in Seatle if I"m not mistaking. I hope they do make a come back though InshaAllah ta'alaa.
