Dawah Videos

If you were to present a video 'Package' to a group of people who know nothing about Islam..what videos or movies would you present to them?

What should the videos explain?

• What is Islam, Muslims, and Allah (swt)
• Who is Prophet Muhammad (saw)
• Ramadan (mainly b/c its gonne be given to them in Ramadan)
• Deal closing...An invitation to become Muslim

The goal is to present 1 dvd in the end (will compile the videos onto 1 dvd).

Post the videos from youtube, google video, or titles of commercial video if you know...

one of the brothers in our MSA made a nice flash presentation for our dawah booth. The run time for it is about 3 or 4 minutes, but it covers a number of core beliefs in Islam and is very well done, MashaAllah. If you would like, i can ask the brother to send you a copy or i can request that he upload it in this thread for download.

Jazak Allah khair. I would like to see the video.

But what I am looking for is a list of rules/guidelines/principles that should be followed when making the videos.

We are going to have a contest, inshaAllah, and we want to avoid the possibility that people would submit content. So we want to give them a comprehensive set of guidelines to follow -- guidelines that are troublesome areas for videos.

So no improper mixing of the sexes, etc.

And I am asking for help in compiling a list of such guidelines.

Alhumdulillah, I made two videos for our MSA, one for the dawah table and the other when we have presentations on Islam. Before I post the videos I would like to give credit to the person who made the Qabeelat Durbah webpage (I'm guessing its brother Al-Baraa) as I loved it sooooooo much I incorporated part of that introduction into my video, so jazakAllahkhair to them and I hope they don't mind that I used it.

There is a phrase in the video that says:
"Muslims believe in a day of judgment"

Shouldnt this be ""Muslims believe in the day of judgment" as the DOJ is only one ?
