Jazaakum Allahu khayr to all students for your patience. Alhamdu lillah, after attempts at many, many different locations (universities, hotels, conference centers, etc.), we have been able to arrange for suitable seminar locations for The Code of Scholars ~ Usool Al-Fiqh. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, each weekend will be in a different location. Alhamdu lillah, they are less than 10 miles apart. See below for details.

Class Timings:

Fri (17): 7:30p - 10:30p (come early for registration - 6:15pm)
Sat (18): 10:30a - 8:00p
Sun (19): 10:30a - 8:00p

Fri (24): 7:30p - 10:30p
Sat (25): 10:30a - 8:00p
Sun (26): 10:30a - 8:00p

* Individual periods include a 10-minute break every 50 minutes. The day is mixed with activities, discussions, and lecture.
* Includes a 2-hour break in the early afternoon. (for lunch, dhuhr & asr)
* Don't let the hours scare you. AlMaghrib is different from the marathon Halaqahs that trigger memories of pain. In shaa’ Allah, count on it.

Lunch:

Lunch information (including local halaal restaurants) will be available at the seminar. We will also arrange to have sandwhiches delivered on the
Saturday and Sunday of each weekend. Sandwhiches will be $5 inshaa'
Allah. Please stay tuned to this space


Parking:

In general, parking is allowed in all Rutgers lots after 6pm on Friday and all day on the weekends. Again, please refer to the Cook/DouglassCampus Map - http://maps.rutgers.edu/maps/default.aspx?campus=6 -- for more information.

So, you can park in any lot after 6pm on Friday, and all weekend-long on this map, except for the lots colored green -- http://maps.rutgers.edu/pdf/CookDouglass.pdf

The closest lot to the Food Science is Lot 90. (Lot 90 is next to the Food Science and Nabisco Buildings.).

For the second weekend, the NJ Chinese Community Center has LOTS of parking.

The Islamic Learning Center (ILC) is available for any brothers who need a place to stay for free. It is a bit far from the class location (about 40 minutes) but more convenient then staying at a hotel. The building is in Jersey City, NJ, and students have stayed there before. Mashaa' Allah We've passed lecture hall capacity. That's 100% in my book We are allowing people to continue to register, as there is often a small dropoff from the registration numbers. So if you haven't registered ... what in the world are you waiting for?!?!?!
