Lightbulb Please Clarify?

salam alikom everyone

Can someone please clarify how a mahram can stop a problem before it starts and if a man and women are alone in a room should it be the mahram or wali that is with them? jk allah khair.

If she has a Mahram who is of age then the Mahram is responsible for her unless her wali was someone other than her mahram.
