Why we need AlMaghrib NOW in Columbus?!

With the great turnouts of all of our promos, AlMaghrib is becoming more popular here in Columbus. I can't emphasize enough how much it hurts when we are asked when is the next class ya Haylers?!!! And, we don't have an answer!!

So, I am posting this here to share with you the reasons why we need to have AlMaghrib back and why we need to have AlMagrhib back NOW in Columbus (ASAP) by the beginning of this coming year insha Allah. I am going to list all the points we have so far, and please, sisters and brothers especially Haylersssss, add all of the other reasons that I might forget to add in here.

1- We have a group of excellent volunteers. They are energetic, they care about AlMagrhib, they love Islamic Knowledge and they are very hard working inshAllah (nahsabahum kathalik wala nuzaki 3ala Allahi ahada)

2- Previously, Hayl lacked in committed volunteers, the old Hayl consisted of very few volunteers who were overburdened by the many tasks that they were handling, Jazahum Allahu khyran, but because they were few, a lot of important wok and activities were not accomplished and didn't go through.

3- The new crew have done such a good job (All praise is due to Allah first and all) in promoting AlMaghrib in away that the community is now anxious to taste the sweetness of increasing Iman and knowledge.

4- Our volunteers don't talk the talk, they walk the walk

5- A lot of sisters need AlMaghrib in Columbus especially because of the traveling related fiqh (mahram,etc.)

6- We know AlMaghrib is ready to entice the competition between the Qabaa'il since Hayl is promising to break the records (inshAllah)

7- AlMaghrib has accomplished a lot of growth in the past few years, and Qabeelat Hayl will be one of the greatest assets the Institute will gain InshAllah.

8- Also, because it’s been nearly a year since some of us have taken a

seminar.

9- It would be the best one year anniversary gift from our beloved institute since our date of closing was Jan 2006

10- The hunger for a real, trusted Islamic knowledge is great here in Columbus.

Please, add more to the list, I remember we had a very long list long time ago on the same topic here,

I really hope that InshAllah, when someone asks us (Haylers) when is the next class we will be able to tell them:

"SPRING 2007 LOVE NOTES. ARE YOU READY TO LEARN?!!!!!!"

Ya Ameerah, I must congratulate you on your ability to put forth what we Haylers have had on our minds for the past year. It is by the Qadr of Allah that we have been given such energy to fuel a once deadened Qabeelah. The whirlwind of activities will not seize and Hayl will climb the ranks of the highest Qaba'ail. (In sha'Allah)

I took only one class with AlMaghrib which was the Light of Guidance with Sh. Yasir MashAllah tabarakAllah, I have never ever attended or saw something like those seminars before. with all the halaqas, conferences, etc.. that promotes knowledge and Islamic education here in Columbus,this was the most impressive one of all.
so, what I can add to the list is
11- AlMaghrib's style of presenting 3ilm,dawah, and Emanrush is something we don't have in columbus, though, it is well and extremly needed.
12- Having AlMaghrib back, will help Haylers show their real appreaciation for AlMaghrib inshAllah.

btw, Mercy J. and Hala, all the points I have is by just putting together what was compiled already by Haylers.

13. Traveling can be costly. (We pay more for the travel than we do for the seminars. etc. Rental cars/flights, lodging, food, etc.)

14. We're entering the snowy time of the year, traveling will be hard with the bad weather and we'd hate to put a pause on our goal of seeking knowledge.

salam alikom sister halaI believe i read one time that if a sister has no mahram then if she travels with a group of sisters with an amir and they stick close to each other then its ok to do so however please do not quote me on this and please verify that this is correct before taking action inshallah. jk allah khair.
