Exclamation How can I bring AlMaghrib to my community?

“It was reported that Umar ibnul-Khattab asked Ubayy ibn Ka`b about Taqwa. Ubayy said, "Have you ever walked on a path that had thorns on it'' 'Umar said, "Yes." Ubayy said, "What did you do then" He said, "I rolled up my sleeves and struggled." Ubayy said, "That is Taqwa.”

Before any discontinued Qabeelah or new locations can be established as a recognized Qabeelah, they will need to go through a process of valuation. In this process (and beyond) students will need to roll up their sleeves and prove themselves.

The recognition of discontinued Qabaa’il and new locations will be based on the following:

  • Locally organized promotional event (s)
  • Volunteerism and involvement in their community
  • HYPE- Video Trailers, E-News, Website, and most importantly, community awareness.
If they pass the evaluation phase, they will be requested to submit an official bid outlining how they will host a successful AlMaghrib standard seminar. Bid will be reviewed by Head Quarters Shura (management staff and instructors) to decide if the bid will be put to action.

Once a bid is approved by the grace of Allaah, they (that location) will be granted a single weekend seminar with conditional target requirements. If all requirements are met, they will officially be granted the title of “Qabeelah”. However, if they do not meet the required conditions, they will not get another class and will be delayed for a minimum of one year to re-bid.

Locations with a close target reach may be granted a second chance with a double-weekend seminar, of course with higher expectation to prove their capability.

During the process of trying to gain “Qabeelah” status, Ameer/Ameerah, website, and banu name will not be recognized by AlMaghrib Institute. Head Quarters reserves the right to make or suggest changes.

Just as a means of clarification...when you mention "locally organized promotional event" what exactly are you referring to by that?
Is that by bringing Almaghrib shuyukh?

Jazak Allah khair for this...as it clarifies the steps needed in order to bid for a location.

This is the place where you will abide and bid farewell to work and toil. This is what matters, one of the gardens of Paradise or one of the chambers of Hell…

By locally organized promotional event, we mean that it would be an initiative by the local crew not HQ. It could be organized with local or AlMaghrib Shyookhs, based on the availability.

Re: How can I bring AlMaghrib to my community?

Asalam o Alikum,

Are there any Al Magrib communities in Denmark? Unfortunately i have to ask this blunt question because i have not heard abt Al maghrib communities or senimars being held in Denmark, copenhagen (main city, capital).

I would love to promote Al maghrib here, need some assistant though!

Please do reply here as quickly as possible.

Thanks in advance,

Regards.

May Allah insert Noor in all your days and Baraka in all your nights.
Please make Duaa for us, we are trying very hard to establish a Qabeelat in Pittsburgh.

Make Duaa's and the angels will say: "And for you"
