How about we post our PR ideas on this thread? I'll post one as a starter

Let's throw another challenge out to the Mubeenites:
either:
a) let's each try to get AT LEAST 10 people to sign up for the class (and offer some sort of incentive to those who can...discount? )
b) a brothers vs. sisters competition- which group can show more representation and get more registrants. I know other Qabaail have done this, and we can definitely do it too!

We gotta show the rest of 'em that Mubeen isn't going anywhere!

inshaAllah, we'll start doing that from this week can someone make T-Shirts? that would be awesome.

Also...I was reading under the "Marketing AlMaghrib" Folder something about identifying target groups and where to find them, and we definitely have some distinct groups in Memphis. For starters:
1. High School Kids- schools, MYM, Youth and Dawah Center
2. College Kids- MSA
3. Uncles- Home Halaqahs
4. Aunties, Married Sisters- social gatherings, Jumuahs, Halaqahs, PVS
5. Single sisters- Jumuahs, MSA
6. Brothers- ?

Y'all think of some more!

We could do the brothers vs sisters thing, although it seems like it would be no competition as the sisters would win by a lannnnnnnndslide.

We could do another bake sale ? and have people register there...?

I'm DOWN for a bake sale I was actually looking at Qabeelat Ansar's folder and all their bakesale hype...we can defn do the same iA!

InshaAllah this can be discussed further in the Marketing Meeting (by the way, when is it? I will try to come) should we do a bake sale every two weeks outside Jumah? Or it can be alternating between the masajid that way there is one every week somewhere...this will utilize every friday that we have until the seminar. It will take alot of organization. Another alternative is to have maybe two or three very large bakesales at central locations?

If the people manning the tables could be wearing and selling tshirts at the bake sales, that may also increase awareness. A technique that alot of places use, is to give away a few free tshirts putting them in the hands/on the backs of the influential crowd.

InshaAllah we can plan logistics after we get a better idea of how can we get the most registrants, and the most hype possible.
