Power of 10

Assalamu alaykum,

So far I know of five people who are try to get groups filled:

Abdullah is working with UCLA/USC.
Bader is working with San Diego.
Megan is working with Mission Viejo.
Shahnila is working with Corona.
I am working with OC.

Is anybody else working on a group of 10? How many people do you have in your group?

the group I'm motivating has 9....

If only *I* knew of the discount ahead of time..lol..I registered and paid all at once..oh well I might just advertise to start a second group amounst my own email lists..abd that might be a good route...each person can send out an ad to their contacts uring them to hurry..your ten spots are filling AND that the discount time is running out....

hmm...

and oh, I didn't mean,m like, lie abou them filling up (marketing is so difficult) how about "10 spots fill fast!"

what do you guys think?

Ma sha Allah! Megan, you have done an excellent job with your youth group!

I have eight people confirmed in my group and I am trying to fill the last two spots. If you have a couple of extra people who need to join a group, please pass them on to me.

mashallah Megan! well the early discount does end like two weeks prior to class...so in a way, time is running out...lol

Alhumdulillah, I just got my group filled! Suwila, jazaki Allahu khair for bringing in the last two members

just a few small tip from a friendly wedady... if you havent already, get the payments ASAP. i've registered some people who flaked out at the end (b4 the deadline for the power of ten) and i had to recruite more at the last minute... about a total of 3 for one team gave word that they'll take the class but later changed their mind. Not good --> this forsakes the other group member's discounts....
Also, if you know someone who is taking the class for sure and has yet to pay, put them in a group! Ask them if they want to pay the full amount and donate their share( $30) ... that $ could be used to start a sponsorship for someone else or charity for banu haqq.... Believe me give them the options, theres usually always a few who do pay full amount.

I already experienced people dropping out of the group. Only 4 of the original 10 are still in my group. I asked my group members to pay a few weeks in advance, so Alhumdulillah, I found out who was really not going to be in the group. That gave me enough time to find replacements for my group.

I plan on sending in the group payment tomorrow, and now I am encountering the opposite problem - there are three people who want to join my full group!

That's a great idea to give people the option to donate the $30 for sponorship or Banu Haqq expenses. It is too late for me to it this time, but in sha Allah next time.

By the way, great job on the seminar this past weekend
