SubhanAllah! It's amazing that even in joking and taking jokes the prophet SAW had patience and the best manners. He didn't even lose his temper or show any kind of dislike at the joke the Sahabah played on him (regarding the loosening of the saddle which led him to fall), EVEN THOUGH that fall could have hurt him or may have even been embarrassing. So many things for me to work on inshaAllah!!!

 Looking for 75% off fatwah...Ibn Hazam said music is ok - are you willing to follow his madhab, go ahead and try. For men your salat is only valid in ja'mah. Still want to follow his madhab?  Going on a fatwah shopping spree is not permissible. |

It has opnly been an hour since I was in the class but I am already starting to have withdrawal syndrome....lol Jazakallah Shakyh Yasir for such beautiful GEMS: which way should you peel your banana???  right to left? top to bottom? maybe i should just give up eating bananas altogether if you argue or debate with the ignorant, he will definitely defeat you how haram is it? big haram or little haram? which came first: usool al-fiqh or fiqh? ..... which came first the chicken or the egg?   my opinion is correct...but it is possible to be wrong. your opinion is wrong but it is possible to be correct..... the beautiful words of Imam ash-Shaafi "I got you Shaafi" and many more to come next weekend........ |

In Jamaa'a, you should make the salats shorter for people Ibaadah issues: It's haram unless you have proof for otherwise Dunya issues: It's Mubah until you prove otherwise "Anyone who is deprived of the principles will be deprived of their goals."

Subhanallah, when the Sheikh was telling the story with his conversation with the Rabbi (and how some kosher foods are derived from pig), I couldn't help but think of how perfect our deen is and how we have protected it for centuries, whereas others have changed theirs.
We change to accomodate our perfect deen. Others change their deen to accomodate themselves. It reminded me of the story of the time of Musa (as) when they Jews were commanded not to fish on Sabbath. So what they did instead was let their nets out on Fridays, and reel them in on Sundays--"innocently" saying that they were abiding by the commands. Subhanallah
