Lightbulb Honoring the Huffadh: FREE AlMaghrib Scholarships
Bismillah

In sha Allah, AlMaghrib is going to be launching our 'Honoring the Huffadh' free AlMaghrib tuition scholarships.

Our way of saying, jazakum Allahu khayr for taking the study of Quran seriously.

The details, policies and procedures to follow, but I just wanted to give everyone a first glimpse.

May Allah ta'ala bless the effort with tawfeeq and Qabool. Ameen.

Wow, what a beautiful initiative - it makes perfect sense subhanAllah to offer them free tuition as they've proven that they can take the deen of Allah seriously by taking His book seriously.

It also serves as a motivation for others to hurry up and finish their hifdh!! May Allah make us amongst them... Ameen : )

Wow thats awesome! Agreed Blessed Muslimah its about time we hurry and finish. Y'know i was lacking motivation to finish my last surahs of the Quran BUtttttttttt now that i read this thread my motivation is back!!!

Determination+Dua'a is the key!

p.s: Blessed Muslimah what do you say we finish our Hifdth by the end of this summer?

What a marvellous idea.

I wish one day you can offer a program or course for local Imams of certain thought and schools to live up and guide a mix muslim society for their diversified cultural background. I am sure you can device a course to bridge the gaps and way to accomodation for the local US and Candian communities. That would be a great effort to hounoring the Imams and followers.

ma sha Allah, what an amazing initiative. the excess money is being put to good use, alhamdulillah

a question: how can you verify that someone is a hafidh? you can't ask them to recite all of the quran on teh spot?

This would probably be beyond AlMaghrib's comfort zone. There are currently institutions that are trying to achieve this objective such as AMJA and NAIF.
