Talking Qabeelat Thabt's New Ameer

As salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah,
I'd just like to introduce to everyone the new Ameer for Qabeelat Thabt: brother Farhat Noor.

Brother Farhat, as many of you in the College Park area may know, used to be the MSA president at the University of Maryland. Alhamdulillah, very active in the Darussalam/AlHuda school area and in Gaithersburg, the ICM community.

In sha Allah, Ustadh Jamal is very much a part of Qabeelat Thabt, but in regards to overall management of Qabeelat Thabt, Brother Farhat will be taking the lead role of responsibility. May Allah reward both of them and everyone else from Qabeelat Thabt for their effort - in this life and the next.

This coming weekend, in sha Allah, we shall take Qabeelat Thabt to a higher altitude, to raise the Eman and knowledge stored up in the minds and hearts of all the sisters and brothers here, and to show the liwaa', in sha Allah, a new home!!!

Please join me in welcoming our Ameer of Qabeelat Thabt, brother Farhat Noor!

Re: Qabeelat Thabt's New Ameer

Assalam Alaikum,

As br. Muhammed mentioned, I am the new ameer of Qabeelat Thabt. Although I have been active in other arenas of dawah, I haven't yet esperienced Qabeelat life. I hope that Ustadh Jamal, ummaziza and others of Thabt will assist me and give me advice as I learn my way around.

Insha-Allah, my goal is to bring the liwaa' where it belongs, College Park.

If you guys have ideas, suggestions, things you feel I need to do to make Thabt the best, insha-Allah please do not hesitate to advise me. If you prefer it to be more private, you can email me as well.

Wa `alaykum assalaam wa Rahmat Allaahi wa Barakatuhu

I just wanted to say that I am extremely proud of our ameer, Br. Farhat. I met him this weekend and we spent a lot of time discuss issues and projects, and I have no doubt whatsoever that Ameer Farhat's leadership will take Qabeelat Thabt to victory for Breach of the Covenant, in shaa Allaah.

The flag will be raised at Dar us-Salaam, in shaa Allaah.
