Course Description
Bismillah
Asalamu alaykum wa rahmattallah wa barakatu Shaykh Yasir, Can you please provide and qualitative class description? So that if we spoke to people about it, what would we say? What are some of the themes going to be? That might help explain. Jazak'Allah khayr, Asalamu alaykum |

I'm in the process of developing the final 'class description' which will be posted on AlMaghrib website insha'Allah.
But meanwhile, take these topics to start with insha'Allah. 1- Brief history of tafseer and its different stages 2- Methodoligies of Tafseer 3- The concept of Thematic Tafseer 4- Methods of Thematic Tafseer 5- Orientalists and Tafsser 6- Review of some modern works on the subject 7- Select themes of study (related to wide variety of traditional subjects and modern issues). This part will be the largest part of the class. And more insha'allah |
