Ramadan Conference Call Announcement Link
MuslimMatters.org is pleased to announce a Ramadan conference call with AlMaghrib instructors & MM guest-writers:Shaykh Yasir Qadhi & Shaykh Yaser Birjas!!! It will take place on September 8th at 11:45p.m. U.S. Eastern Standard Time [That’s 3:45am GMT].

Here’s how it works, both shuyookh will give a short talk on Ramadan, and then we will take your questions. Here’s the catch, questions must be submitted ahead of time. You can post your questions in the comments on the post that is linked above at muslimmatters.org, or send an email to muslimmatters //at// g m a i l DOT c o m with your question. Questions must be received by Friday September 7th.

Dial in information will be sent out on our new mailing list. This is a different list than the email subscription many of you may have to receive notifications on new posts. This email list will only serve to send out occasional important announcements about happenings at MuslimMatters.org. We hate unnecessary emails as much as you do, so don’t worry about getting inundated with unnecessary mailings.


Please help promote the call by spreading the word, and let you friends and family know about it so they do not miss out. This will insha’Allah be a great way to kick off this Ramadan.

Some questions that are very relevant for tonight were answered... Mashallah, it was one of the most beneficial Ramadan Q&A with a great emphasis on unity and communal harmony. Questions on issues ranging from moonsighting, zakat-ul-Fitr, 8 vs 20, etc. I urge all the brothers and sisters to take this opportunity to listen to our Shayookh on great matters that have caused much fitan in our communities.
