Meet Your New Canadian Based Instructor: Sh.Saed Rageah
Bismillah. Alhamdulillah. Was Salatu was salamu 'ala Rasoolillaah. wa 'ala Aalihi wa sahbihi wa man waalaah. Amma ba'd.
It gives me great pleasure to announce yet another all-star instructor to our list of Canadian instructors. Sh.Saed Rageah. Sh.Saed was Imam in Maryland the year I moved to the USA, back in 99. I remember the brothers taking me to go pray at his Masjid. Sh.Saed soon moved to Calgary (Canada), and has been the Imam there for many years. He very recently moved to Toronto. Those who were at the Ilmfest in Toronto (earlier this year) enjoyed listening to Sh.Saed. In sha Allah, Toronto is blessed to have him as one of their Imams, and now AlMaghrib is blessed to have him as one of our instructors. T.O. is stealing all of our people from out West! What about us in the Prairies and the West Coast?  Vancouver would probably be a good place to try out a couple al-Maghrib classes! |

BTW, a friend of mine in T.O. is asking where exactly Sh. Saeed is going to be located primarily... any masjid in particular? Will he be doing regular halaqaat and so on?

Masha'Allah. Great news to have Shaykh Saed as our new instructor. I agree with Flow i wasn't too suprised either but all in all it is great.
