Re: ~~~Qabeelat Tayybah's Gems~~~

There is so much hikmah in everything that Allah (subhanahu wa taala) commands us to do. In a medical study that was done, the results showed that putting your head to the ground at least 5-10 minutes a day will help your memory, it helps open up the veins, prevents diseases, and elongates life.

SubhanAllah we put our head to the ground in sujood everyday, 5 times a day, in the Worship of Allah. And when you look at the elderly Muslims compared to the elderly non Muslims, you will see a big difference in terms of their knowledege, their capacity at life, etc.

Re: ~~~Qabeelat Tayybah's Gems~~~

The Muslim community is required to make ghusl on the body of their fellow Muslim brother/sister, when they die.

If no one in that community washes the dead body (the way that they would wash themselves in ghusl), they are all considered as committing a sin.

But SubhanAllah the Muslim is respected even at the time of death, whereupon their awrah should be covered when someone makes ghusl for their body.

The mumin is respected, and can feel at ease knowing that their body will still carry respect after death--so much so, that if it is a sunny day, your Muslim brothers and sisters will hold an umbrella over your coffin as it is being taken into the grave.

Two things that will weigh the heaviest (in terms of goodness) in Yawm Al Qiyaamah:

A.) Akhlaq
B.) Taqwa

"Fear Allah the fear that He is most deserving of you, and do not die unless you are in the state of Al Islam (3:102)"

Ibn Masud narrates that the Prophet (sallalahu alayhee wasalam) said:

"There are two types of people who don't learn, a person who is shy and a person who is arrogant."

(Sahih Bukhari)

Re: ~~~Qabeelat Tayybah's Gems~~~

Never base Islamic rulings on your dreams. The only people who had dreams that were always from Allah were the Prophets, peace be upon them.

Some interpretations of dreams:

(A) If you see yourself naked in a dream, this symbolizes "weakness of Deen"
(B) If you see your clothes dragging on the floor, this is not out of arrogance, but it means that your Deen is very strong (like Umar rA).

And when you have a bad dream, you should not tell anyone--just keep it to yourself. But if you have a good dream and want to share it, only tell it to the one's you love.

Re: ~~~Qabeelat Tayybah's Gems~~~

If a person knows about Islam--that is what he will be held accoutable for. But for the people in which Islam never reaches them, also those who were deaf, dumb, blind, etc., on the Day of Judgement Allah will test them.

He will tell them to jump into the Naar. Some will jump in, and those people will be the people of Paradise insha'Allah. Allah will tell them that if the message had arrived to them in dunya, He Knows they would have obeyed Him.

But as for those who do not jump--their ultimate destination is Jahannam becuase they did not put their trust in Allah (azza wa jaal), and had they been given the oppurtunity in dunya (to obey Allah and accept Islam), they would have turned away from Him.

Someone who just ate Garlic & Onion is supposed to avoid going to the masjid b/c the smell offends the Angels, then even moreso would be the situation for the one that Smokes

Every object that hears you calling athan will be a witness for you in the day of Judgement ...

SubhanAllah - Cassette Recorders is not a permissable means to call the athaan becuase that is a act of worship & thus requires intention -
(In turn, the same goes for "Alam athans & computer Programs" that do it automatically)?

When people pray behind the Imaam, than he is their Sutrah so if someone passes in front of them, it doesnt break their prayer
