A Question on Intentions

Wa alaikum assalam,

As explained in the course, one has to check his/her intention in the begining of an action (why am I doing this, for what sake?...), in the middle of the action (is my intention still pure) and at the end of an action to ensure that that action was purely and solely done to please Allah. The fact that you're doing an action with the intention to help humanity that in itself is a good intention as it is (should be) coupled with: Pleasing People (in things that do not go against the sharía'a of course) = Pleasing Allah.
