Rasool SAW said....


Our lord comes down every single night to the lowest skies, when only one third of the night remains and he says, "Who is making dua to me so I will give him what he wants, who is asking me so I will grant him his request, who is seking my forgieness so that I willl forgive him?"


How can that not increase our iman?
How can we after hearing this hadith and learning and understanding the importance of tahajjud not take advantage of this blessed time?
How can we despair at the mercy of Allah SWT after understanding the hadith?

~The purpose of Asma Was Sifaat is not to question how Allah SWT is as He described Himself...rather it is to get an EMANRUSH~

~for example in the previous hadith we are not to question how Allah SWT descends...rather its to be eager to pray tahajjud!~

Some more info about tahajjud <<< this was my favorite part of the class, as you may already have noticed

~we can recite from a mushaf; just keep a chair on the side to put the Quran on it when we go into ruku

~the best tahajjud is that in which there is along recitation (Rasool SAW recited baqarah, ale-imran, Nisa in ONE raka!!)

~the best tahajjud is in which the ruku in LooOoonG

~we should make dua in sujood, as we are the closest to Allah SWT then, according to a hadith of Rasoolullah SAW

~the best is that we should pray witr after tahajjud; delaying it until before fajr and then pray fajr...(Rasool SAW would delay his witr until before fajr, lay on his rightside waiting for bilal to come call him for fajr

~Rasool SAW prayed 8 rakat of tahajjud and 3 of witr....

The issue of attributes was not a problem during Rasulallah's (alayhi al salaati walsalaam) time. Hence, there is no ayah in the Quran that says, "And when they ask you about My attributes..." But there are ayahs that talk about every difficulty the sahabah faced (alcohol, divorce, interest, etc.).
