Where are the gems already????
There is either no internet at the venue or maybe the class is sooo amazing they can't spare the minutes to type something up!! Can't wait till this thread explodes inshaAllah..

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuhu wa maghfiratu,
LEt's get started w/ the gems! I have sooo manyyy to post, but want others to write toOooOO inshallah!! WEll first, I should've started with "Bismillah wa alhamdulillah"---> imitating the Quran!!! "Whoever makes istikarah will not lose; whoever consults w/ others will not be regretful." Abu Hurayrah (r)'s methodology for Success: 1) Duaa. Have a strong connections w/ Allah in both Tawakul and Ibadah as well as TAwheed and reliance. 2) Work Deligently "What is w/ Allah lasts...." "Be renounced in what the people love, and the people will love you." Prophet Muhammad (s) Knowledge and practice= knowledge Whoever lowers himself for Allah, Allah will raise him. Check or Wreck...****Always make sure to check your intentions before the deed, while you're engaged in the deed, and afterwards. OKAY I got more coming up inshallah. START POSTING!!!! MAy Allah Azza wa Jaal bless our awesome sheikhs w/ more knowledge and reward and May He Protect our new sister in ISlam and the rest of us inshallah. wasalamau alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuhu |

Gem: "Sall Allahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallum"
Why is this a gem? The way shaykh Suhaib Webb said this salawaat, slowly and deliberately, giving each word due emphasis, was a gem to me. How many of us rush through the salat on the Prophet as if it is a chore we have to get over with before we can finish our sentence. Gem: the way you can tell whether a difficulty or a calamity in your life is a blessing in disguise (i.e., means of purification) or a punishment that forebodes greater punishment in the hereafter is by guaging your own reaction to it. If you start challenging Divine wisdom and Divine decree, the misfortune was a punishment. If it brings you closer to Allah (via sabr, etc.), it was a blessing.

Gem: The word "Kull" in "Kulla Bid'atin Dhalaalah" denotes absolute totality.
