Re: Shaykh Waleed...JaazkAllah Khayr!
Salaam Alaikum Wr Wb,
JazakAllahuKhair Sheikh Waleed!! MashaAllah the class was amazing! I truly enjoyed learning about so many scholars many of whom I had never hear of before. It really hit on a personal level to hear about the reality of their human lives and how much of what they faced is similar to our lives today. InshaAllah I pray that we all benefited and start to implement the tactics learned in our everyday life. JazakAllahuKhair, Rema

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
From the Ittihaadis, a huge Jazakallahu khairan katheeran wa ahsanallahu ilayk, Sh. Waleed. We were truly amazed and humbled by the incredible amount of knowledge you shared with us, and this awesome opportunity to get access to it. This class was one of the very best ever, with all of the amazing stories, the Islamic history, the fun activities which made each scholar even more unforgettable, the great lessons learned and discussed... the list goes on and on and on. May Allah swt reward you for the enormous amount of work put into bringing this knowledge to us and presenting it in the best way!! We spent much of the drive back just going over our favorite points, most beloved scholars, lessons learned, and the wonderful time we spent in Columbus. We pray that we take this knowledge and in sha Allah, put it to the best use and teach it to others. Last edited by Ayesha H; 08-18-2008 at 05:57 AM. |

Re: Shaykh Waleed...JaazkAllah Khayr!
assalamualaikum
Jazakallah khair Sheikh Waleed for last weekend. I personally tend to zoom in on manners and humility of the shuyukh, and I realize myself somewhat focusing on this in every AlMaghrib class I take. Subhanallah, I observed some manners on your part ya Sheikh, throughout the weekend, and that to me, is somewhat more valuable than the knowledge you were imparting. Your sincere concern for the students, you placing importance on our rights as students, have really left a big impact and impression on me personally. I have learned more from that alhamdulillah. Jazakallah khair Sheikh Waleed for that. |

Assalaamu aleeykum wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuh...
I am totally speechless when asked how the class was. May Allah reward you yaa shaykhana, my excitement started from the teleconference and you completely surpassed my expectations during this past weekend. Ya'ni no words will ever do justice to how much I personally appreciated all your efforts in teaching us and motivating us. I guess the only way to really show my appreciation like you said during the volunteers meeting is acting upon the knowledge, spreading it, and getting more students to benefit from future classes. May Allah make us of those that hear the reminders and follow the best of it. Ameen. Fi Amaani'Laah P.S. I think the teleconference really helped in motivating volunteers, would it be possible to maybe do this with future classes for the different Qabaa'il.?

Jazakhallahu khair Shaykh Waleed for yet another amazing class! You blessed us with a weekend full of inspirational stories and lessons to apply to our lives. I was really impressed by the organization of the material. You made it easy for us to remember the different scholars. Everything about this class was amazing!
Every single person I spoke to about the class said how much they enjoyed it. May Allah reward you for all the work you put into this class. May we all apply the immense knowledge you shared with us. Ameen.
