you know what happens on thursdays??

Salaam Alaikum

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to fast on Monday and Thursday. On being asked about that the Prophet said: "Deeds are presented on every Monday and Thursday. Allah forgives every Muslim or every believer, except for those who are forsaking each other. He says [about them]: 'Leave them.' " (Reported by Ahmad with authentic chain of narrators)


You know all of that work that we're putting in for the seminar tomorrow? It is going to be presented to Allah. The prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam used to love for his deeds to be presented to Allah while he is fasting.

Game Plan:
1) Fast tomorrow.
2) End the beef! If you have someone who you're not talking to...it's not worth it!! Don't you wish for Allah to forgive you tomorrow? Then cleanse your heart while you have a chance.
3) Make du'a tonight in the last third of the night, that we have the most amazing, blessed seminar ever in the history of seminars! Isn't Allah able to do all things? Make du'a as well tomorrow when you break the fast. Don't forget our brothers and sisters all over the world who's situations are much more dire than a seminar.

Beware of being stingy with du'a. It is the least we can do.

P.S. Did you think you were done with fasting? Verily one of the signs of Allah having accepted a deed is giving the slave the ability to continue performing it.

May Allah accept our fasting in Ramadan, our fasting afterwards, and make us people of the gate of Rayyan, a gate that will not be entered except by Al-sa'imoon.
