Nurayn Brothers vs. Sisters Bake off!!



What: A bake sale to raise funds for the Qabeelah, with the option of entering the Nurayn All-Star Bakeroo!!

Who: Courageous brothers and sisters who want to put their culinary skills to the test. All baked goods will be accepted for sale.

Where: LUL-L @ Nurayn in GMU.

When: Sunday, November 23rd 2008 during lunch



The nitty-gritty:

This is a bake sale to benefit our Qabeelah! To accommodate everyone's competitiveness, and levels of baking, entering into the competition is optional (and not for the faint of heart)! So bring what you can, home made or semi-home made and we'll put it to the test.

Judges: will be chosen from amongst the organizers, and I hear Sh. Yasir has a sweet tooth



Rules:

1- to bring an item for sale, it has to be edible, and sweet

2- bring serving utensils if needed



To enter the Nurayn All-Star Bakeroo-

1- entry must be edible, home-made, or semi-home made

2- bring necessary serving utensils

3- there should be a tag displaying the following information

a. your name/ID (assigned on the day of)

b. give your dish a name- (creativity is appreciated and generously rewarded in scoring)

c. any allergy information (nuts, milk, eggs..etc).



Entries will be judged on the basis of 1-presentation, 2- taste, 3-creativity. The winner will be declared the Nurayn All-Star Bakeroo! There will also be a gift from the Qabeelah!

If you plan on supporting the bake sale/competition, please drop me a line so we can plan accordingly for all the goods, or post on this thread!

well, if there are chickens coming by sea (whatever happened to being across the road?), then you know they're heading over to support the bake sale!
