Re: New AlMaghrib Instructor: sh.Abdulrahman Hijazi

Wow - ma sha Allah - its so great that you [حفظك الله] are pat of the AlMaghrib Instructors. I moved to MD (Dar-us-Salaam, Al-Huda school) 4 years ago. And I can never forget the first time I saw you, which was during a Friday Khutbah @ Dar-us-Salaam, College Park MD. You gave such an emotional Khutbah ... about one of the Sahaabah, i believe it was Khubayb .... he was taken by the Quraish and tortured so brutally, and they dismembered his limbs -- and they asked: Would you like that Muhammad be in your place now? And he said: Wallaahi, I would not like for the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to even be pricked by a thorn, while I was safe with my family..

That was the first time I saw you ... in the extremely moving Khutbah. * And I was very happy to hear ur comments in tonight's Ilmination online - the Qiraa'ah Competition. Ma sha Allah ... May Allah preserve you, Aameen, and help us to benefit from your knowledge and taqwa, Aameen.

You do not know how much I am thrilled to hear that someone would remember a khutbah of mine that was made 4 years ago. Jazaka Allahu Khairan.
May Allah make us all among those who will meet under Allah's shade in the day of judgment. Ameen.
