Re: If we were to repeat a class, what should it be?

I havent voted, but I think you guys should go with one of the older classes. Now that the AlMaghrib community in your region has grown tremendously alhamdulillah, wouldnt it be a good idea to go over the classes that you havent had in 2,3,4 years?

This will give a chance for the new (& current) students to brush up on the principles of Usool, Purification, and Adab.

Even if they may not be one of the more popular classes, inshaAllah they should still bring the most benefit...

Re: If we were to repeat a class, what should it be?

I say rays of faith, only because I haven't taken it and I assume it would be a great class to take.

Then, Light of Guidance, because I didn't take it again and think it would be a very good class to take.

and finally Code evolved, because I didn't take that one either and think it would be a good class to take. selfish reasons, but who wouldn't do the same

Re: If we were to repeat a class, what should it be?

Rules of engagement, never took a complete class on adab, and missed it last time at Tayybah.

Light of Guidance: I also didn't take it and heard so much about it.

Code Evolved or Rays of faith: CE was just AMAZING, probably fav after Conquest. Rays of faith was simply a great eman booster. I wish it was a four weekend class though

Re: If we were to repeat a class, what should it be?

1. Rays of Faith - I missed this class since Tayybah had it in July when I was in Makkah. But whenever this class is mentioned, people can't stop talking about how amazzzzing it was. I would totally travel to Jersey if it meant having the opportunity to take this class!

2. Light of Guidance - Its one of the most important and life altering classes I've taken. There are so many students who joined almaghrib after this class was offered and could really benefit from this class as well as all of us old timers, who would lovvve a chance to brush up on our Aqeeda =)

3. Rules of Engagement - One of Almaghrib's most practical and beneficial classes. Who can pass up the chance to learn from our beloved Shaykh Muhammad again?!

Re: If we were to repeat a class, what should it be?

I haven't taken the classes up on the poll, except TSP. However, adab and akhlaaq is something that is lacking among the young generation, so I say Rules of Engagement.

Route 114 and Heavenly Hues because it's about the Qur'an, the core of Islam.

I have a question, why isn't Fiqh ad-Da'wah up there? What is the issue with that class? I'd love to take that class inshaAllah!

Jazakumallahu khairan.

Re: If we were to repeat a class, what should it be?

Em...I wanted to click on The Rules of Engagement but accidently clicked 'The Code Evolved.' If an admin could fix that, inshaAllah, I'd appreciate it. (Or just have add one to the Rules of Engagement?)

Jazakumallahu khairan.

1.) L

2.) O

3.) G

...would be awesome!

The whole purpose of your existence explained to you. The rights of the Creator and the Created...the Who, What, Where and Why of our Deen taught to us by the Y-Queezy in the heezy. If this class was taught everytime we had a class, I would take it.

Work your magic fellas...

Surprising.... the twins think alike =P

But I agree with them also.... those were my top 2 classes and then Rules of Engagement, mostly cuz I missed it
