London Project

Salamu 3alaikum wa rahma,

Ruwayda Mustafah ( one of my Da'wah Pals) have began a project and i happen to be one of the key members of a small but growing project which is aimed to refute all the contemporary propaganda and lies against islam. we are obviously young and lack the knowledge of pursuing this project currently, however it is our aim to get a group of sister ( ages not a problem) and study together at the masjid and ask the shaykh when we are in need of his assistence ( May Allah bless him and forgive him for his mistakes and reward him for his good).

Currently we are all studying, and have our exams coming up.

The project to summarize in very little words is:

1. Opportunity for young muslims to spend this summer around their sisters.
2. Be aware of the contemporary criticism flaunted around by every kaffir even though most of them don't know what they are arguing against.
3. Gain knowledge
4. Be around other older sisters ( at the masjid)

These are our current ideas and aims. Please do share some of your suggestions. Our site is currently in progress ( when it is done in a months time, inshallah i will send the link here).

One of the main reasons we want to gain knowledge about islam and refute the lies of the haters is because the youth is greatly in need of knowledge to defend their deen and boost their eman ( through knowledge and obviously dhikr).

Also, Most people are bored during summer especially the ones that do not go on a holiday, they waste their time with silly things but this is a good opportunity to spend time wisely, hopefully.

Alhamduliah im fine sister jazakallahu khair for asking, how are you sister? yes alahmduliah the project is still on, inshallah it will take place in either East london mosque or Regents park mosque inshallah. Alhamdulilah. What a great idea, one that continually needs to be revived within our community, Im up for it sis and im sure my sisters in QShams would love to help out with this amazing project.
