Asalaamu Alaikum WaRahmatullah WaBarakatahu,

So, many times we find that students attend seminars and rarely do they prepare for the class or continue learning about this subject more indepth or remind themselves of material.

Ways to do that is obviously to go through the notes,..

However more realistic is to read, view and listen to those materials that remind one of what they may forget... or be used to prepare for the class before it comes to your town

(if possible can the Shaykh, Admins, Ameer(ah)'s make this a sticky ?, and edit material as they see fit...)

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of the translation to shaykh al islam ibn taymiyyah's (rahimahullah) muqadimmah to usool at tafsir? The Arabic version is available many places online and it was translated back in 93 by Al-Hidaayah publications (An Introduction to the Principles of Tafseer was the title I beleive) but I didnt find it on their website or any others...

I'm looking to purchase it so that I can have a hard copy and have seen the translation referenced in many different works. Please post if you have any links to that book/sellers that have that book at their website. Jazakum Allah khayr.

SubhanAllah, this is odd...I recently saw it on the Dar-us-Salam bookstore website but it's not there anymore...I checked all the bookstores I've ordered from before but it's not available anywhere. Maybe you can check/call the local bookstores and see if there are any available there? InshaAllah hope you can find it.

Br. Ayaz emailed and I think they told him it was out of print. Amazon.com also said that the book is out of publication so it appears getting a hold of the book will be tough...alhamdulillah ala kulli haal.
