I dont feel satisfied..

Did it ever occur to you that you dont feel completely satisfied with the extent you fear Allah and with the extent you humble yourself in front of Him?

Did you ever wish you had seen Allah so that you could worship Him and love Him (subhaanahu wa taala) in the best way you possibly could?

Do you sometimes feel despaired because you dont fear hell fire as much the Hell fire has the right to be feared and you dont long for Jannah as much the Jannah has the right to be longed for?

If yes then smile..

Remember the following hadith of our prophet (salallahu alyhi wa sallam) and understand that this is something we need to build upon to gain more and more love and pleasure of Allah subhaanahu wa taala.

The reward of believing in al-ghaib (unseen) and the words of Allah (swt)..

So lets not give up hopes and try our best to submit to Allah (swt) with the best submission we can and hope for His (swt)'s great reward, mercy, and forgiveness..

[Sahih Bukhari : Hadith No. 2089]

Narrated 'Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah'sMessenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "Allah has some angels who look for those who remember (glorify the praises of) Allah on the roads and paths. And when they find some people remembering (glorifying and praising) Allah, they call each other, saying, 'Come to the object of your pursuit.'"

He (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) added, "Then the angels encircle them with their wings up to the nearest heaven (sky of the world)." (He added) "After those people remembered Allah and the angels go back, their Lord asks them--though He knows better then them-- 'What do My slaves say?' The angels reply, 'They say: SubhanAllah, AllahuAkbar, Alhamdu-lillah,' and they glorify you, Allah then says, 'Did they see Me?' The angels reply, 'No! By Allah, they didn't see You.' Allah says, 'How it would have been if they saw Me?' The angels reply, 'If they saw You, they would worship You more devoutly and remember You more deeply, and declare Your freedom from any resemblance to anything more often.'

Allah says "What do they ask for? ' The angels reply 'They ask for Paradise.' Allah says (to the angels), 'Did they see it?' The angels reply, 'No ! by you O Lord! they didn't see it.' Allah says: 'How it would have been if they saw it?' the angel says, 'If they saw it, they would have greater covetousness for it and would seek it with greater zeal and would they have greater desire for it.'

Allah says, 'From what do they seek refuge?' The angels reply, 'The seek refuge Hell (fire)', Allah says, 'Did they see it?' The angels say, 'No by You, O Lord! they did not see it.' Allah says how it would have been if they saw it?' The angels say, 'If they saw it they would flee from it with the extreme fleeing and would have extreme fear from it.' Then Allah says, 'I make you witness that I have forgiven them', Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) added, "One of the angel would say, "There was so and so amongst them, and he was not one of them but he has just come from some need. Allah would say, There are those people whose companions will not be reduced to misery."

May Allah (swt) accept from us. Ameen

Re: I dont feel satisfied..

JazaakAllah khayr sister for reading. The main point was that the reward of worshipping, obeying, and glorifying Allah subhaanahu wa taala without even seeing Him, and longing for Jannah, and fearing hell, without having seen them is so much great that Allah subhaanahu wa taala makes angels witness that He azza wa jall has forgiven those who believe in them. (I might not be doing justice in summarizing it, but in fewest words thats what it was I think).
