Qabeelat alFaaris's FIRST Seminar - Feedback

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

So,

...it began as a dream, and by the Will & Tawfeeq of Allaah swt & some determined individuals - it became a reality. Qabeelat alFaaris aka Banu Midlands (quite liked that name) successfully pulled off it's first seminar. Presented by the founder himself; Sheikh Muhammad alShareef.

Breach of Covenant; Tafseer of Surat alBaqarah
March 21-22 & 28-29

I loved the environment of the mere two days I attended, the course was amazing - wallahi, the amount of times you reflect on YOURSELF. I think I ate too much after the lunch break (note, I said I think...) and as soon as we hit back in class I kinda got drowsy...I had to keep asking myself how the SHEIKH FELT! He is standing the whole time! Sheikh Muhammad, if you are reading, may Allaah reward you for your efforts - I sincerely made dua for you

your delivery, the content, the stories, YOU! Masha'Allah...fee meezaan hasanaatak bi'ithnillah.

I have benefitted alot, I pray you all have too.

The AlMaghrib escapades, the pre-seminar excitement, the qabeelah name-choosing (no comment), the hospitality, the thoughtful gifts (Lost&Found, my badge went missing!!) , the funky signs, the purple hijaabed team (seriously, everytime I see purple I think ALMAGHRIB - talk about anchoring!), the 'who wants to answer a question' moment, the scorebaord, the resupplement of water bottles, the CAKE, the EVERYTHING - it has surpassed my expectations (can you tell by the long post?). It is clear alot of preparation has gone into this, I pray only success comes your way.

I personally know many of the AlMaghrib sisters (whats it feel like to be labelled as an AM Sis?! :P ) And I have seen them (no doubt the brothers too) work tirelessly and with such passion. May Allah reward you all in abundance for your intentions. Whether your good deeds were recognised by people or not, rest assured, He has recorded it in His book.

BTW, I particularly liked the miswaak gifts; reviving the sunnah masha'Allah! Can anyone recommmend ways of storing the miswaak other than a small carrier bag?!

DISCLAIMER: I personally prefer Qabeelat alFursaan; it's the same meaning, just plural.

Just want to say a BIG Jazaakum Allahu Khayran to EVERYONE at QFaaris (i'm not too sure if it is Al-Faaris or just Faaris so i'll take the safer option)

I'll definitely be joining you guys for future seminars bi'idhnillah, already registered and paid for TSP alhamdulillah!

The sisters ma sha Allah are just....COOL!! I didn't even feel like a 'traveller'...the sisters took great care of us....Alima, Ms Baz, World Peace, Fadeelah, Nemah and ALL the other volunteers... may Allahu subhanahu wa ta'aala reward you abundantly.

Just like to say mashallah you guys were AWESOME! so generous, warm, helpful kind just everything synonymous with great, as umm muhsin said I felt so welcome I have a feeling this qabeelah is gonna be an a amazing one insha'allah can't wait to come back in july insha'allah, loved the location and most importantly the cakee was yummyyy!!

SubhanAllah... we too have enjoyed every minute of hosting you ALL... it was so amazing to meet such wonderful sisters!!

I wasn't able to spend much time with you...but hopefully next time!

I also didn't get a chance to say this in person, but if you did feel offended by anything I may have said/done, or anyone else in the team, please forgive us...! Our intention was not to harm anyone.

And most importantly, keep us in your supplications... that Allah accepts all that we do/have done, and keeps us all firm upon the deen, and grants us the best in this world & the next... Aameen!

To the "back row cru" i really miss the "rocking chair", I forgot to take a pic of it!
