MAIN: 55 Ahadith With Immense Rewards.
Assalamou alaikum wa rahamtullah,
*This thread is only for the ahadith. All discussions on how to implement the ahadith can be made on this thread insha Allah.* 1. The Attitude of Those who Truly Love Allah Narrated by Anas ibn Maalik that a man came to the Messener of Allah, sallallahu alahi wa sallam and asked him: "When is the Hour (the Day of Judgement)?" Upon this the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam stood up and made prayer. Upon completing his prayer he asked: "Where is the one who asked the question concerning the Hour?" The man came forward and replied: "It was me, O Messenger of Allah." He salllahu alahi wa sallam then asked him: "What have you prepared for it (the Hour)?" The man replied: "I haven't prepared for it much in the way of prayer and fasting, but I do love Allah and His Messenger." Upon this the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alahi wa sallam replied: "A person shall be with whom he loves, and you shall be with whom you love!" Anas ibn Maalik herein stated: "I have never seen the Muslims as happy after their acceptance of Islam, as they were upon hearing this statement." (Authentic, Tirmidhi) Note made by Author: When the man said: "I haven't prepared for it much in the way of prayer and fasting, but I do love Allah and His Messenger." then this does not mean he missed obligatory prayers and fasts! Rather he is talking about his nawaafil actions, as it cannot be possible to love Allah and His Messenger without performing the obligatory deeds.

Bismillah,
2. Preserving Family Relations Preserving the Ties of Kinship: "Whoever wishes that his provision be increased and that his life be blessed let him maintain the ties of kinship." (Bukhari, 5986 and Muslim, 20)

Re: MAIN: 55 Ahadith With Immense Rewards.
Bismillah,
3. The Fastest Way to Obtain Allah's Rewards On the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alahi wa sallam said: "Nothing of the acts of obediance to Allah brings about the reward from Allah faster than joining the ties of kinship, and nothing brings about the punishment of Allah faster than indescency and cutting the ties of kinship." (Authentic, from Al-Abaani's Authentic al-Jami') |

Bismillah hirrahmaan nirraheem,
4. The Virtue of Teaching, Good Advice and Da'wah On the authority of Abu Mas'ood al-Ansaari who narrates that a man came to the Messenger of Allah sallaalahu alaihi wa sallam seeking someone to provide him with a ride but could not find one. At that point, someone came and said that he would lead him to someone who could carry him. Thereuppon the Prophet salllallahu alahi wa sallam said: "Whoever directs someone to a good deed will have the same reward of the one who performed that deed (without diminishing from the other person's reward)." (Muslim) |

Re: MAIN: 55 Ahadith With Immense Rewards.
Bismillah,
5. Fulfilling People's Needs Narrated by 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar that someone asked the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alahi wa sallam: "Who is the most beloved person to Allah?" He replied: "The most beloved of the people to Allah is the one who is most beneficial or useful to the people, and the most beloved deed to Allah is to make your Muslim brother happy - to remove something that distresses them, or to assist them in regards to a debt, or to satisfy their hunger by feeding them. Indeed, that I walk with my Muslim brother in [fulfilling his] needs is dearer to me than being in seclusion (I'tikaaf) in this Masjid (The Prophet's Masjid in Madinah) for a month. Surely the one who controls and suppresses his anger even though he is capable of acting upon it, Allah will in return fill such a person's heart with happiness on the Day of Judgement and the one who continues to assist his brother in fulfilling his need until he is satisfied completely, then Allah will in return make his feet firm on the Day [of Judgement] in which the people will sway [in fear]." (Al-Isbahaani, Ibn Abi Dunya, classed as Hasan by Al-Abaani) Note made by Author: The act that you help another perosn in must be an act that is allowed in the Shari'ah. Thus, to help another Muslim to do something haraam, or to help another person worship another God for example is not permissible and only earns a person sin on the Day of Judgement.

Re: MAIN: 55 Ahadith With Immense Rewards.
Bismillah,
6 .Visiting The Sick Narrated by Ali ibn Abi Taalib that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alahi wa sallam said: "The one who visits the sick person walks on a pathway leading to Paradise, and when he sits down at the side of the sick person he becomes immersed in Allah's Mercy. So, if it was at night that he made such a visit then seventy thousand Angels will pray that Allah bless him until the morning, and if it was during the day that he made his visit then seventy thousand Angels will pray that Allah bless him until nightfall." (Authentic, Abu Dawud.) Note made by author: As well as carrying immense rewards, visitng a sick person is also one of the rights a Muslim has over another.

Bismillah,
7. Performing Prayer in the Noble Sanctuaries of Makkah and Madinah. On the authority of Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah salllalahu alahi wa sallam said: "Prayer in this Masjid of mine (Madinah) is superior to a thousand prayers elsewhere, except for Masjid al-Haram (Makkah), and prayer in Masjid al-Haram is superior to one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere." (Ibn Maajah) Note made by Author: One hundred thousand prayers is equivalent to over 55 years of obligatory prayers. Wallahu alim. |

Re: MAIN: 55 Ahadith With Immense Rewards.
Bismillah,
8. Performing Voluntary Prayers at Home Narrated by one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam (implying that he had heard this from the Messenger of Allah): "The superiority of a man's prayer in his home over his prayer when people see him is like the superiority of an obligatory prayer over a voluntary one." (Al-Bayhaqi, classed as Authentic by Al-Abaani) And from the lengthy hadith of Zayd ibn Thaabit, that the Messenger of Allah stated: "O people, make your (voluntary) prayers at home! Indeed, the best prayer of a person is in his home, except for the obligatory prayers (Bukhari and Muslim) |

Bismillahhirrahmaan nirraheem.
10. The Special Virtue of Praying Isha and Fajr in Congregation. Narrated by Uthmaan, that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alahi wa sallam said: "He who prays 'Isha in Jama'ah (congregation) it is as if he has prayed for half the night. And as for him who (also) prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he has prayed the whole night." (Narrated by Malik and the wording is that of Muslim (260) who also reported it) |
