Allahu Akbar! It turns out that there is a bank willing to give out halalified mortgages so that you can buy a home (anything, from a 2bedroom house to a mansion). Abu Hanifa says the fard is the highest obligation & if you dont perform it, it takes you out of the fold of Islam.
The Wajib is also obligatory, but if you dont perform it your still a Muslim.
