i signed up at FOS and gave my email address and info there.. but never got anything since.....
after seeing this thread, i just wrote an email to you guys (to the address listed).. but i was wondering, if you could please email the sisters who signed up at FOS.. if they're not on the forums, then they're probably still waiting all this time, like i was

i didn't understand what this meant.. what wouldn't apply for non durbites? what type of things are you going to do that are limited to your locale?

PERHAPS we will have on-site stuff going on, too, like checking our tajweed with sisters more advanced in the tajweed? That is my guess. Allahu 'alam.

mine is so far nice and consistent.. which is surprising to me.. but the idea of the Qur'an organizing my life, i guess that's not too surprising

their advice for now is to memorize as much as you can!

It's already started. The assignment is to memorize the first 3 ajiza by Durbah's next class, Heart Serene. Sr. Sumara made the announcement on the 2nd Sunday during the Qira'a competition.
