Yea, you may want to not start memorizing Juz 'Amma first and would rather focus on the "big ones" (Al Baqarah, etc.)

But remember that these short, little, surahs in Juz 'Amma were revealed at the most critical time in Islam;

when the believers were shaping their iman.
