MashaAllah, this class is the PERFECT gift before Ramadan. Shaykh Shpendim is an amazing instructor and we're all surprised that this is his first time teaching an almaghrib seminar, hafidhahullah.

Shaykh Shpendim opened the course by saying:

Ultimately, once you embark on this journey of having entered into the ocean of the Qur’an and having sipped from the sweetness of its water, you will find yourself in love. You will find yourself yearning for more after this course. You will desire to better learn the Qur’an and move on to more surahs and complete the Qur’an as a whole, inshaAllah. Let this be the first step in the journey. If you do, you will find that Allah azza wa jal is there to make it happen. <o></o>

RasulAllah sallah Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam in comparison to Abu Jahl is like the comparison of Jannah to Jahanam.

We can have a taste of the experience of Rasul Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam by establishing with the Book of Allah azza wa jal.

One of the reasons why we study the surahs in order of revelation is to establish our link with the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam. In studying these surahs in the context of his life, the seerah in the tafseer aspect, we come to realize how intertwined the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam was with the Book of Allah – his life, his mission and his message. We can then say that we feel what the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam experienced, in the context of the Qur’an. <o></o>

Aqeedah is a core issue in Juz Amma. 13 yrs in Makkah and the core concern was to establish Laa ilaaha il Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah in the hearts and all that entails.

The Sahabah conquered different lands without even knowing their languages.
Why?

- Because the beauty of Islam shined through them so much so that the non-Muslims would be like "Yo I don't know what that is but I want a piece of it!!!"
