Surah A'laa:

We should remind and attach ourselves to what Jannah is to lessen our love for this dunya.

We should take the dunya out of our hearts and into our hands so that we have control over it and it does not have control over us.

Shaytaan doesn't just come at you from the angle of "Oh maybe one more glance at the sister/brother won't hurt...." or "It's ok, tell your mom you were at your cousin's house..."
He can also come to you regarding praiseworthy things like seeking knowledge ("Why is that person praying like that?"), etc.

BE CAREFUL!!!

Some people constantly ask, "How do you worship a God you know nothing about?"

But they don't see that we do know about Him. What do you think "Al ghafoor ul-Raheem", "Al Rahman-il-raheem", "Al 'azeez-ul-hakeem", etc. are for?

Allah is telling us His attributes so we know who He is and how to relate to Him!

We haven't established an Islamic state in ourselves and yet we want to have an Islamic state for the Ummah.

- How can you run without learning how to crawl?

We're still dealing with trivial things like masjid politics!!
What is that if not an oxymoron???

Suraht Lahab:

When Allah mentions a person or a people in the Quran, He wants us to learn from them.

So beware of the characteristics of the doomed and try to implement the characteristics of the believers of times past!!
