Re: ***Ittihaad GEMS***
Righteous people have been attacked and accused throughout history, so dont despair if you're one of them.

Re: ***Ittihaad GEMS***
5 major themes in the laws of fiqh:
1) Affairs are judged according to their objectives 2) All harms are to be removed 3) Hardships bring about ease 4) The norms/customs of a ppl take precedence 5) Certainty is not dissolve by doubt Most ahadith relate back to these qawa'id; so in addition to them probably appearing on the shaykhs exam make sure to drill them in your head, so next time a situation arises and you gotta apply them

Anything that is legislated in the religion is something that we are able to bear

Bismillah.
There are 3 types of intentions: 1) pious (one reward for intention, one or multiplied reward for action, 2) Religiously neutral- worldly affair 3) Evil (one sin for intention, Only one sin for action) |

- When a sunnah is abandoned, it is replaced with an innovation

Re: ***Ittihaad GEMS***
If one intends to do an evil deed and changes his mind fearing Allah, he will be rewarded twice for both the change of stopping evil intention and remembering Allah (swt).
What beauty in Allah's mercy and kindness, so much so that he multiplies rewards for goodness and offers reward for a change of heart, and what wisdom in his Justice that he only punishes once and does not multiply the sins. |

Re: ***Ittihaad GEMS***
We fail to see the positive or good that comes out of trials that Allah gives us.

Re: ***Ittihaad GEMS***
Imam Bukhari chose this narration of his first hadith, because all the narrators in the link are from Hijaaz (makkah and madinah).
This is linked to the hadith b/c it is the first in the book of revelation, and revelation occured in those 2 places. |

Re: ***Ittihaad GEMS***
- The children naturally develop a hatred for Islam since the parents will tell the child to ‘go read the Quran’ if they’re bad.
- This is referred to as ‘Anchoring’: an emotional attachment
