Times when dua is accepted......

Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem

Assalamu Alaikum,

So Shaykh Navaid Aziz asked me to post the list that we made in class on the times when dua is accepted, so here it is....

1-Time of Rain
2-Between athan and Iqamah
3-Time of iftar
4- Last third of the night
5- Traveling
6- When someone is sick
7-When you make dua for your brother/sister in their absence
8- Day of Arafat
9-When someone is oppressed
10- Laylat al Qadr
11- While you're fasting
12-During salah, specifically before the taslimah
13-Asking Allah by the Ism Al A3tham (there are two opinions of what name that is, some scholars say it is the name Hay Al Qayum or according to Ibn Al Qayyim it is Allah)

I hope I wrote down all the ones mentioned in class, if I'm missing some please let me know-just make sure it was the authentic ones mentioned.

Jazaakillahu khairan Sr. Rana for sharing these.

One thing I would suggest to everyone, especially considering two or more of these times are encompassed by this blessed month of Ramadan, is to make a list of the top 3 things you want from the dunya and akhirah, and make dua' for them through out the day and especially as you're breaking your fast. Then add to this list as Ramadan progresses.

Br. Faizan, please feel free to share this list (with the tip above) with whomever you like. Baaraka Allahu feek!

May Allah grant us all that we desire through this blessed month! Ameen!

By the way do you have proof for the first one 'when a muslim woman is giving birth"?? Because we were asked for this proof and I couldn't find it. Jazakum Allahu Khairan
