Asalaamu `alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barkaatuhu,

Just a quick note about the unofficial Durbah Brothers Reunion this past Tuesday. Br. Moustafa (Borham) Badreldin and Sr. Sameera Iqbal (both proud members of Durbah) had their wedding/walima/valima this past Tuesday. As I entered the mashaa' Allah-ified hall, I saw Durbah brother after Durbah brother after Durbah brother after Durbah bro ...

I saw brothers from all 3 classes we've had ... Fiqh Ad-Da`wah (Musa, Wajahat/Ahmer, Umer C. ... old school Durbah ... so old school we weren't even called Durbah yet ) ... Conquest (too many to name) .. BOC (another long list) ... and TCE (which had better be everyone in that hall ).

And to top it all off ... 2 of the co-founders were reunited. That's right ... Akbar and Batman were the Dynamic Duo once again!!! Moustafa B. (not to be confused with me) and Umer Akbar at it again. And even Mohamed Salah called in and got to speak with the groom

Another Durbah union, another wonderful night of blessings and glad tidings inshaa' Allah. May Allah bless you both, Moustafa and Sameera, as you start your new (Durbah/AlMaghrib) lives together. Ameen.

Time for a tribal call for the newlyweds ... c'mon Durbah .. lemme hear it ...
