i am looking to get imam safi lecture and sheikh yaser's moriscos lecture. anyone know where i can find them?

I know there are extras, inshaAllah you can ask one of the ameers this weekend if you are taking the class, or email them if not, and he will direct you to the sister who has the CDs.

Come to class this weekend, they will be sold at the EmanRush table. The Moriscos lecture may be sold out but we may be able to obtain more from the production team, in sha Allah.

I don't think I'll be able to make it to the tazkiyyah class, its looking like I'll be out of town the next 2 weekends. Can anyone pick me up a copy and get it to me at the sheikh's talk at GWU next wed? I'd reimburse, of course.

I was at Ilmfest but I left early and I didn't get to pick up any of the CD's...

This seems like a reasonable place to ask a question: are we allowed to make copies of the CDs from IlmFest and pass them on to others? Post them online? Or is Al-Maghrib planning on printing more and selling them? A lot of beneficial knowledge in those lectures...

I'm all for the protection of copyrights and respecting the wishes of the shuyookh/organizers, so I'll do as told inshaAllah. But it would be a shame to have to keep these to myself!

Arghhh. One of my CDs was mislabeled as Sh. Yaser Birjas' lecture on the Moriscos when it was really "Striving for Acceptance" by Sh. Yasir Qadhi/Sr. Dalia Mogahed (also good, but now I have the same CD twice!). Who do I contact for another CD?

sorry for the mad crazy delayed-like-what response. Here are the answers:

1- Dunno about copying and passing them out...sounds shady. Email me: mobeen dot vaid at gmail dot com and I'll find out and email you inshaAllah.

2- If you email me, inshaAllah we'll try and get you the correct CD...it was just a simple case of mislabeling by accident.
