· Photo I.D. Please bring something official with your picture on it. Due to the need to cross check students names with the paid student list, we will actually have to enforce the necessity of photo I.D. You won’t receive your textbook until we see your photo I.D.

· Wristbands Once you receive your wristbands for the class you must keep it on the entire weekend. Only people with wristbands will be allowed in the class. This will be strictly enforced inshallah.

It is HIGHLY recommended that all students be on time, in order to maintain class manners. Please note students coming late will only be allowed to enter in the next available break, after the class has commenced.

The closest parking garage is Student Services Parking Garage, which is number84 on the map. There is also a nearby parking lot at number 86 on the map.

Price is $7 flat for Saturday and $5 flat for Sundays.



Mississauga Bus Service

For Mississauga Students, there is a special bus booked for both weekends, Saturday November 7th and Sunday November 8th, as well as Saturday November 14th and Sunday November 15th.

Departure will be from Playdium in Mississauga. The address is 99 Rathburn Rd. West, Mississauga, ON L5B 4C1at 8:45 am on ALL 4 MORNINGS. Please be on time as the bus will not wait for late comers.

The bus will take you directly to York University, Accolade East Building, approximate arrival time 9:45 am.

The bus will pick students up from York University at 7:30 pm on ALL 4 EVENINGS. Students will then be dropped off back at Playdium in Mississauga. Approximate Arrival, 8:30 pm.

Fare is $5.00 per day. If you plan on taking the bus all 4 days, please pay per day. Payment will be collected when getting on the bus.

Unfortunately the bus has not been booked for the first Friday. However the Hwy 407 West Go Bus is running from Mississauga directly to York University on Friday from the following locations:

Meadowale Go Station
Square One Go Bus Terminal
Streetsville Go Station

Checklist of things to bring to class

· Notepaper, pens,
· Water container,

· Photo I.D: student card and/or driver's license.

Room Setup/Rules
To maintain a professional and comfortable environment for everyone, brothers will be in the front rows and sisters will be in the back rows in-sha-Allah. There will be check-in tables, one for brothers and one for sisters.

-No audio recording devices are allowed in class. Cell phone ringers must be switched off.

-No children/babies will be allowed in class.

-Once the class has started, no one is allowed to get up and leave the class unless it is an emergency. Hence, we advise restroom use before the class begins or wait until the break period.

These rules allow for a smooth and uninterrupted class. Everyone is comfortable and can benefit from the instructor!

No food or coffee etc , other than water is allowed into the auditorium. You are welcome to eat and drink in the public seating areas.

We will be strict on enforcing these rules during the class. Absolutely NO food or drink other than water will be allowed in the class. Ushers will be telling students to finish their food or drink outside of class before they are allowed in.

There are several outlets along the walls of the auditorium (none in the middle). I would suggest, if you're able, to bring an extension cord if you want to sit someplace other than right next to the wall.

Here is a quick and easy way to get to the Student Services Parking Garage.

Take the 401 East (Collectors), then the 400 North, and then get off at the Steeles exit. Turn left on Steeles Avenue (heading East), then continue all the way until you reach Keele Street. Turn right on Keele (heading South), then turn right at the first light (York Boulevard). Once you enter the campus through York Blvd, after the first light, turn left onto James Gillies St (there will be a small left turn lane in which you have to be in). After the stop sign, turn right into the Student Services parking garage.. and you're in!

Okay, alhamdulillah, I usually bring 1 or 2 power strips with me to each class, though I don't have an extension cord.

What about wireless? We will have any open access to wireless internet on the campus?

If some students forgot to make childcare arrangements, maybe the hospitality (contact info in one of the sticky threads) people can link them up with a babysitter? The parents will probably have to miss tonight's class, since it's too last-minute, but hopefully, they can make arrangements in time to be able to attend for the rest of the weekend...
