I am pleased to announce, for the first time in Durbah history,
the full year seminar dates and venues schedule!

Note: Dates are confirmed, but may be subject to change based on circumstances

Double weekend; Jan 22nd is Free Friday (no registration needed, bring guests!), no session on second Friday.

Alhamdulillah! Now that we have a permanent venue for the year we can plan fun stuff ahead instead of waiting for the venue.

Jan 22-24 & 30: NJIT Campus Center, 2nd floor ballroom (450 seating on tables/chairs)
Jan 31: Rutgers Newark Paul Robeson MPR (450 with mixed tables/chairs and chairs only)

Why are the topics top secret, if they were posted, wouldn't that make it easier for people to plan if they want to attend or not. I've thought about this, idk why there is so much secrecy in general, I mean its an Institute, so I think the more info it provides to the students about classes/schedule the better it is.

And to plan ahead, dates should be enough. Except for "The Code Evolved", all classes will be new to NJ.

In previous years, before I became Ameer, I came to trust the quality of AlMaghrib seminars, so no matter what the topic would be, I knew I would be there if circumstances allowed. And that attitude never let me down Alhumdulillah

Knowing the dates, for students who live in NJ, is all they need to plan ahead. They will find out each class during the previous one insha'Allah.

sweeet JazakAllah khayr! It's really good to have the dates in advance so I can know when not to plan anything else - as for the topic, it'll be announced well in advance anyways so people will have enough time to decide if they're going to attend inshaa'Allah.....but as the Ameer said, for people like me, alhamdulillah dates are good enough

I think its better not to disclose all the seminar information. That way, instead of just reading a small summary that might not motivate one to take it [though that has never been the situation in my personal experience, wAllaahu A'lam], the individual would be at the mercy - for lack of a better word - of the volunteers and Durbah's crazy marketing techniques [this is a compliment].

And the rest is history.
