Re: Sacred Scrolls || Q.Tayybah GemzZzz

Ibn al-Jawzi said:
“Something was causing me a great deal of grief and distress, and I started to think long and hard about how to get out of this situation by any means, but I could not find any way out. then I came across this verse:
‘…And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out [of every difficulty].’ (65:2)
I realised that Taqwa (Piety, fearing Allah) is the way out of every kind of grief and distress. As soon as I followed the path of taqwa, I found the way out.”

Please note that Hassan is only 12 years old. We are trying our best to let him do this independently, so the gems might not be as insightful. He's very excited and motivated by this course, Alhamdulillah.<O:p</O:p

I think the deal was for someone who didn't have a forum username to join and post. Therefore, Br. HassanBukhari is still in the lead. I can't believe he is going to beat all the adults without a username in the class.. The race can't be only of one competitor .. Sr. UmmHassan, his gems are totally insightful and amazing reminders .. Please keep 'em coming!

It is a must for a Muslim to ask Allah and to depend upon Him and no other.<O:p< font O:p<>

To make it sincere for Allah, in accordance with the Sunnah & to eat from halal sources avoiding haram sources. <o:p></o:p>

Ways to erase sins:

On the authority of Shaddad ibn Aws (رضالله عنهم) the Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said, “The chief of prayers for forgiveness is:

<DFN title="O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshiped except You.">Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Ant</DFN>
<DFN title="You created me and I am You servant">Khalaqatani wa ana ‘abduka</DFN>
<DFN title="and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can">wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu</DFN>
<DFN title="I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed">audhobika min sharri ma sana’atu</DFN>
<DFN title="I acknowledge Your favor upon me">abu ooh laka bi ni’matika ‘alayya</DFN>
<DFN title="and I acknowledge my sin">wa abu ooh bi zanbi</DFN>
<DFN title="so forgive me">faghfir lee</DFN> <DFN title="for verily none can forgive sin except You.">fa innahu la yaghfiruz zunooba illa Ant</DFN>
<DFN title="for verily none can forgive sin except You.">Translation:

‘O Allaah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am You servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.’

</DFN>The Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم) added, “If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it and dies before the morning he will be from the people of Paradise.”

Imam Nawawi said: "Performing the halal with the intention of protecting yourself from the haram turns many a mundane act into an act of worship.
