A man once asked Ab Hurayrah Allh be pleased with him, What is al-taqw? He replied, Have you ever taken a path filled with thorns? The man replied, I have. Ab Hurayrah asked him, What did you do? He replied, When I saw a thorn I would dodge it or pass over it or behind it. Ab Hurayrah said, That is al-taqw.

WOW.....This is amazing. You have Sh Salah al Sawi and Sh Jamal Zarabozo......please continue posting your notes. Jazakum Allahu khair.

By the way, Sh salah is teaching a book that basically represents his life's work.

For the Tarbiya part 6 notes, in the second hadith it is similar to the first butthe narrator is Sa'd ibn Malik. Was he a governor of Iraq, too, and did the people complain about him like they did of Sa'd in Abi Waqas?

That is the same person, related through two different chains. I suppose that Malik was an earlier ancestor of his.
