Re: Divine Link || Q.Tayybah GeMzZz
If the adhan provides a Muslim land with its identity then the salah is what provides the Muslim with their identity. In this day and age youth will pick up on any sort of genre simply to have something to identify with. They have departed from the culture and history of immigrant parents and there may not be anything rooted where they are to latch on to, nevertheless, growing up they may find and select something. Let that something be Islaam and let it be through the salah. What people identify with are things they can enjoy and respect, entertainment and struggle. The Prophet was funny and went through the hardest of trials yet he is the most successful figure in the universe.
I saw a Disney movie recently with an unexpected albeit still fairy tale ending. It made me wonder if we as Muslims have a fairy tale ending of some sort. I reflected on the Prophet's life and you see so many examples of painful memories in regards to people's endings. But two things hit me, we do get a fairy tale ending in the next life. And in this life... the fairy tale experience the Prophet had was the coolness of the eye in salah. As much as he might have loved anyone, once the adhan was called he was on it. There is something magnificent we are missing out on and our only obstruction is our own self. When it is hard on us it is the sort of purification we get from its linguistic sense, the struggle we can admire and respect. When it is easy on us we get the enjoyment that cannot be found in anything else. This is what identifies us, so there is no reason to leave or turn away from it, and every reason to only ever increase in it. |

When you've already started praying you can move behind another sitting person to have him function as a sutra. You can even combat large, petrifying, venomous black scorpions and just pick up where you left off.
But if for some odd reason you're praying by a pool, guys can pray in swimming shorts provided it covers their awrah. If someone needs help you should go and try to help.........provided you know how to swim. |

PSA: If you're holding a baby while praying and all of the sudden it begins to smell... don't just throw it away.

Think of salah as your devine link. Always ask if
you are making each step of your salah correctly. |

Abu Hurayrah narrates that the prophet (saw) said, " If people would know the reward of calling the athaan and praying in the first row, they would have to draw lots for them."
[Bukhari] This means that if people knew the reward of calling the athaan and praying in the first row, they would fight for it. |

When you are praying and carrying a baby and it soils the diaper, your salah is still valid.
