The prophet (saw) forbade the meat and milk of a Jalallah animal. Jalallah: Any animal that eats a lot of najas.

If a hunted animal is alive by the time you come to it, you are required to slaughter it. Now, the laxity of hunting is lifted.

All the scholors agree that the best way to slaughter an animal is to cut all four passages...

Idols are prohibitted to worship but it is not najas. Also, for men, silk is haraam to wear or sit on, but it not najas.

If Allah mentions the most important parts of the animal as being haram (the meat/flesh) then it is safe to assume that all the lesser parts of the animal are haram as well (any by-products, lard, etc.)

Feeding animals organic food = no mad cow disease. The Shari'ah taught us this 14 centuries ago.

The most praised type of meat in the Qur'aan is fish meat. Fish is known to be the healthiest of meats today. Coincidence? Probably not.

This should probably be obvious but anything that will kill you is haram to eat.

Locusts are halal in Islam and in Judaism.
This shows how close the two Shari'ahs are and furthermore, that they must share the same source.

In Islam, you go from child to adult once you hit puberty and are treated as one according to the deen.
